Notification Preferences

Overview

The Notification Preferences section allows users to manage and customize the types of notifications they receive via email. 

Note: SMS notification options are displayed but are not yet available; this functionality will be introduced in future updates.

Notification Types and Options

Below are the categories of notifications available for customization:

• System: Enabled by default and cannot be disabled. These are essential system and security notifications.

• Marketing: Optional marketing and promotional content.

• Scan Upload: Notifications related to the uploading of network scans data.

• Hosts Data Changes: Alerts when there are changes in data related to network devices.

• Training: Notifications and reminders regarding training activities.

• Admin Notification: Important notifications intended for administrative users.

• Admin Weekly Summary: A weekly summary of administrative events and updates.

Note: Notification preference options vary based on user roles. For example, Trainees will only see System, Marketing, and Training options.

In-App Portal Notifications

Notifications within the Sentrido user portal are always active and cannot be disabled. These ensure that users are promptly informed of important events and updates, even if email notifications are turned off.

Accessing Notifications

• Click the Bell icon located in the top navigation bar to open the notification center.
  

• Users can view all recent notifications directly within the portal and have the option to mark them as read and to pin notifications to the top by clicking the "star" icon.
