Running the Sentrido Discovery client

The Sentrido Discovery application will scan your network for security risks, and provide a risk assessment report. 

Running the Discovery client

As soon as you complete the installation of the Sentrido Discovery client, the application window will open:

You are presented with two options of using the application:

• Login with your Sentrido account (requires registration <link to relevant article) - doing so will ensure the scan report will be saved under your account for future review which will allow you to monitor your security posture progress.
• Scan without logging with a Sentrido account - You will have access to the report for a limited period of 14 days.  

Option 1 - Register and login using your Sentrido account

Option 2 - Scan only

The Scan only option allows you to scan your network and have access to the Sentrido report for 14 days. 

To continue with this option, click 'continue without Sentrido account'. The Client will start scanning your network and discover it's hosts.

When the discovery process completes, the following window is displayed: 

You can open the report by clicking the 'Open your report' link, or copy the raw data to your clipboard. 

Make sure to copy and save the passkey to ensure you can access the report at a later time.
